An individual tutorial with Judith that concludes with an arrangement for me to do some stream of consciousness writing, and some video work, the video part has worked out very well, the writing not so well. Although as stream of consciousness maybe it will serve its purpose from Judith’s point of view. I feel slightly foolish for not asking why she wanted me to do these things. This reflects a feeling I often have when I leave tutorials; enthused because the work has been discussed intelligently but sideswiped because something has been pointed out that hadn’t occurred to me.
